普高老寨隶属于新街镇多依树村委会，位于新街镇东部，距新街镇23公里。共有农户132户690人，世居哈尼族。2009年末全村经济总收入111.4万元，农民人均纯收入1614元；粮食总产量180吨，人均有粮246公斤。村民收入主要以种植业、畜牧业为主。

Pugao Laozhai Village is under the jurisdiction of the Duoyishu Village Committee, located in the east of the Xinjie town, 23 km away from the Xinjie town, 132 households, population of 690, and permanent resident Hani people. By the end of 2009, the whole village’s total economic income is one million one hundred and fourteen thousand RMB, the rural per capita net income 1,614RMB; total grain output 180 tons, 246 kilograms per person on average. The income of the villagers mostly comes from crop, plant cultivation and livestock farming.
普高老寨位于元阳县多依树哈尼梯田核心区，有天然的旅游资源环境，是中外游客必然观光点之一，为发挥其地理和资源优势，更好的保护、继承和发展普高老寨独具特色的梯田景色和民俗文化，元阳县委、县政府将普高老寨列为元阳保护哈尼梯田生态和民俗文化重点村。
Pugao Laozhai Village is located in the core area of Duoyishu Hani Terraced Fields in Yuanyang County, has natural tourism resource environment, and is one of the tourism spots that foreign and domestic tourists must pay a visit.
